Veterans Program

Specialized Addiction & Mental Health Care for Veterans, Referral Partners, and Families

At Hope for Tomorrow, we are honored to serve and provide care to the men and women who have bravely served our country. We understand that many Veterans in West Virginia face unique challenges with substance use and mental health conditions like PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Our Veterans Program, partnered with Rally Point Recovery, was built specifically to meet those needs and to simplify the referral process for our professional partners.

Whether you’re a healthcare provider, case manager, social worker, or VA professional, we’re ready to collaborate with you to ensure Veterans get timely, compassionate, and evidence-based care close to home.

Led By Veterans, For Veterans

Hope for Tomorrow’s Veterans Program partners with Rally Point Recovery and is led by a Veteran who understands firsthand the experiences, culture, and challenges faced by service members. This leadership ensures our program remains truly Veteran-centric, grounded in respect, and tailored to the realities of military and post-military life.
“Hi, I’m Michael Stanley, a fellow Veteran and a Master’s-level Social Worker licensed in both West Virginia and Ohio.
I know firsthand how tough it can be to adjust to life after service. I was medically discharged in the fall of 1994, and like many of you, I’ve faced the challenges that come with transitioning back into civilian life and living with a disability. That experience fuels my passion for helping other Veterans find the support and healing they deserve.
For the past seven years, I’ve specialized in substance and alcohol recovery, often working with people who are also dealing with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. My approach combines proven therapies like Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. More than that, I meet you where you are, helping you find strategies that work for your unique needs and goals.
This program was built with you in mind. I believe in creating a supportive space where you can share your story, discover new ways to cope, and take steps toward a life you can be proud of. You’ve served your country, now let us serve you.”
